PIETRO BARILLA

1877 The Barilla story commences with Pietro Barilla in a

bread and pasta shop in the center of Parma.

RICCARDO BARILLA

1910 First dinero factory and first trademark.

Riccardo and Gualtiero, Pietro's sons, with the helm

of the company.

would send me with our handcart to get a few carriers of

small stone oven. After a few years, in a small shop, with

1947-1971 After Riccardo Barilla's fatality, in 1947, his

daughters Pietro and Gianni required the reins of the

company and promoted a long-term
